Head of Operations (Military-tech)
Our client is a product-based military-tech company developing AI-powered unmanned aerial vehicles and related systems. We are looking for a Head of Operations who will be responsible for building company processes and managing the supply chain, including coordination of production, procurement, logistics, and sales operations in Ukraine and international markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Coordination of procurement, production, logistics, and sales.
- Process Building: Establishing clear interaction frameworks between teams and optimizing end-to-end processes.
- Scaling: Adapting production capacity to meet growing demand.
- Control: Monitoring timelines, costs, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensuring occupational safety standards and compliance with labor legislation.
- Strategy: Co-developing the company’s operating model together with the founders.
Our expectations:
- Proven experience in operations management within the real sector (manufacturing, logistics, supply chain)
- Successful track record of building or transforming processes from scratch or in high-growth environments
- Understanding of Lean principles or ISO standards (a plus)
- English level: B1–B2
- Ability to operate in a high-uncertainty environment and take on broad responsibility (COO-ready level)
- Understanding of IT solutions for business and, preferably, hands-on experience in selecting and implementing them together with cross-functional teams
- Experience with automation and visualization of management reporting
